The Empire State Building stands is 1,250 feet above the ground, or 103 stories. The antenna adds an additional 204 feet to its height. The 86th floor observatory is 1,050 feet above ground, while the 102nd floor observatory is located at 1,224 feet. In fair weather, it is possible to see 80 miles into New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
